Coach Bingo Date Change

Coach Bingo  Update

Breast Friends of Pennsylvania logoWe’re navigating uncharted territory together, and fear and anxiety are high. Breast Friends of Pennsylvania have been closely monitoring all the news and data related to the COVID-19 virus. Based on the information, social distancing. We take this situation seriously as we recognize that people we serve, with cancer, often have suppressed immune systems, putting them at significant risk of infection and complications.

We are committed to our community and supporters. We were waiting and hoping that it would not come to this. But after Monroe County has been put on restrictions and the fire hall had to close for the time being. I am sad to say that our bingo has to be rescheduled. The great news is that it has been rescheduled for April 25, 2021. Same place same time. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and the perfect time for us to get together and bring awareness.

My hope is that those of you that have tickets already will be able to still come and those of you that couldn’t attend due to other obligations will now be able to join us. So please start spreading the word.

Please call or email me with any questions as I don’t always see the messages on FB. My email is bestfriendsofpa@gmail.com Phone number is (321) 236-3722

If you want a refund please allow 30 days.

Take this time to rest. Enjoy a book, watch a movie or just get needed rest and relax. Stay safe and healthy.

Thinking of you at this unprecedented time.

We thank you for your patience and support as we navigate this unique situation.

COVID-19 Virus Update and Support

Breast Friends of Pennsylvania logo

We here at Breast Friends of Pennsylvania are each closely monitoring all the news and data related to the COVID-19 virus. Based on the initial information, instituted some common sense social distancing, and communicated with volunteers, board members as well as program participants. We are reminding them to stay home if experiencing any symptoms of viral illness. It has become evident that these measures alone are no longer sufficient to keep our higher risk population safe. We take this situation seriously as we recognize the people we serve, with cancer often have suppressed immune systems, putting them at significant risk of infection and complications. We also are committed to ensuring that no one faces cancer alone.

All support groups will be canceled until further notice. as well as wig appointments.  We will revisit when in person  support will start up as we monitor reports.   Please know that we will be available to you over the phone. Please reach out.   Given the quickly evolving nature of this health threat, we will continue to monitor daily and make additional changes as needed. We will update you as these changes occur.

We recognize the amount of uncertainty and anxiety this virus may cause. It is important for you to know that we are here to support you regardless of our ability to do so in person. We thank you for your patience and support as we navigate this unique situation with the urgency our members living with cancer deserve.

Take this time to rest. Enjoy a book, watch a movie or just get a needed reset and relax. Thinking of you

Vivian and the Board.
