We’re navigating uncharted territory together, and fear and anxiety are high. Breast Friends of Pennsylvania have been closely monitoring all the news and data related to the COVID-19 virus. Based on the information, social distancing. We take this situation seriously as we recognize that people we serve, with cancer, often have suppressed immune systems, putting them at significant risk of infection and complications.
We are committed to our community and supporters. We were waiting and hoping that it would not come to this. But after Monroe County has been put on restrictions and the fire hall had to close for the time being. I am sad to say that our bingo has to be rescheduled. The great news is that it has been rescheduled for April 25, 2021. Same place same time. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and the perfect time for us to get together and bring awareness.
My hope is that those of you that have tickets already will be able to still come and those of you that couldn’t attend due to other obligations will now be able to join us. So please start spreading the word.
